What to Expect at Kaul Family Chiropractic

  • New Patient Paperwork:
    • Fill out forms detailing your pain, medical history, family history, and health habits.
    • This helps us fully understand your condition and provide personalized care.
  • X-Ray Process:
    • Depending on your injury, we may request x-rays for a closer look at your spine.
    • X-rays are taken at Mercy Outpatient Imaging or Evergreen Urgent Care, with payment handled by the imaging facility.
  • Consultation and Treatment Planning:
    • After your exam, discuss your condition and symptoms with our experienced chiropractors.
    • The doctor will explain your diagnosis and outline treatment options.
    • Together, we’ll decide on the best treatment plan to address your condition.

Questions?
Contact us anytime if you have questions about your first visit or future appointments.

  • $140 First Visit Fee: All new patients, except those covered by auto insuranceworkers’ compensation, or the Veterans Administration (VA), will be charged $130 on their initial visit if we are unable to verify benefits.
  • Deductible Application:
    • If your insurance plan has a deductible, the $140 payment will be applied toward that deductible amount.
    • This means that the $140 you pay will count towards the total amount you need to pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering the costs of your care.
  • Coinsurance/Copay Credit:
    • If your insurance plan requires you to pay coinsurance (a percentage of the medical bill) or a copay (a fixed amount per visit), you may receive a credit after your insurance processes the claim.
    • This credit would be for the difference between the $140 you paid and your actual out-of-pocket responsibility based on your insurance plan.
  • Disclosure:  We do our best to estimate your responsibility based on the benefits we are able to verify with YOUR insurance company. However, the final amount may be different once YOUR insurance fully processes your claim.
