As a patient of Kaul Family Chiropractic, we want you to be completely informed regarding your insurance policy, expectations and limitations. We do our best to gather the most current information from various insurance companies with the understanding that it is not a guarantee of payment and is subject to change at any time. It is however, your responsibility as our patient, to contact your insurance company and be informed of your insurance benefits.
If your insurance policy has an annual deductible, our office will help determine the patient responsibility for your visit. We will collect and estimated amount based on an average chiropractic visit and the balance will be due at the time the explanation of benefits is received by our office. At the beginning of each month statements will be sent out to our patients who have a balance on their account. Outstanding balances are due in full at the time the statement has been received. If a payment plan needs to be arranged, you are expected to call our office and set up an automated payment option.
Our doctors are credentialed with and are preferred providers with several insurance companies. As long as there is spinal manipulation coverage on your policy, we accept the following insurances in our office for chiropractic treatment: Regence, Moda, Providence, PacificSource, Cigna, Shasta, Medicare and Atrio. Even though these are the primary insurances policies we accept, there are others that may allow for chiropractic services in our office.
Not all insurance policies cover all modalities such as massage or manual therapy that we offer in our office. If that is the case with your particular policy we will provide you with that information and options for receiving those treatments.
Insurance companies do not provide treatment for maintenance visits. If you are seeking care and do not have insurance that covers chiropractic treatment or are seeking maintenance care, we do offer payments options for those visits.
All of our fees that we charge for our services can be requested at any time. We want our patients to have as much information as possible so that there are not concerns or questions. We want your focus to be on receiving the best care possible.
